Too many posts for today, I know

Quick question, what's the deal with texting? Maybe I'm too old for it, maybe I just am not used to it since it costs extra on my plan, but if you have something to say that requires more than 1 text each way, why not just call the person? If you're in a situation where talking wouldn't be good, then doesn't that mean you shouldn't be texting either? Someone please explain this to me!

Ah - but there is an annonymity in texting that you cannot find in the spoken word. We are becoming the annynymous generation - email, blogs, texting, etc. Don't have to hear the sound of the voice or see the look in the eye or feel the aura of emotion that comes with real contact.
Another thing to think about too - we are evidently entering a world-wide crisis in farming because of the bees. For some reason bees cannot find their hives. Entire crops are failing because they are not being pollenated. There is very real science looking into the inaudible-to-us signal emitted by cell phones that may be confusing the bee's signals that keep them on their paths to and from the hive. Look it up. Should we outlaw cell phones?? Just a thought.
